Now I've got your attention - I know there are a lot of you out there who go to the sales and see many horses sold to doggers becuase their previous owners only want the money or have lack of feed. Often all they need is some love, feed, time and TLC to make the best horses. Unfortunately you can't save them all BUT I am currently in the market for a horse so anyone that has access to the sales where they are going cheap and wanting to make a bit of money and save one more here is what I am looking for....

a filly or mare
mature around 12-13 hh
from about 1 year old to 4 years
under $500
unhandled, skin & bones etc all ok (no major injuries as will need to be rideable by small kids at later date)

I am not fussy on breed, I'd like a out of the bush by hard riding type actually but I am partial to Arabs and Welsh Ponies. I would prefer it not to be a shetland. Mini also considered.

I do not want an appy! I would prefer it not to be grey or plain chestnut (though it would not be refused just because of these two colours).

What I am wanting it for;

to be handled and broken in for my two year old daughter to be lead around on and ride herself at a later date (we are expereinced horse people owning and operating a horse training and breaking business in the industry)

to mow the lawn and live in our very large houseyard as another pet

we have a baby son who will also ride the pony when he is old enough

we only keep mares and would prefer this to be one we will keep to breed from when it has been outgrown
