HORSE AGISTMENT Available in the Adelaide Hills, Bugle Ranges (5mins Mount Barker/30mins from Toll). Two positions; one available now, one end of January. Taking bookings now for sensible horses to share with a mare & gelding in a large natural 7acre paddock with ground feed ideal for retiree/spelling with lots of trees and dam, slight sloped land with wire/mesh/rural style fencing. Ground feed/pasture is green & brown (see photo), photo taken after mowing part of paddock to show amount of ground feed. NO ARENA but does have flat areas at top & bottom of paddock to work horse. No rugging but can monitor rugs. Daily check on horses, their water, etc. Shared walk-in tack shed and feed shed. Short or Long Term available. Sorry no stallions or colts. Family Friendly. Our 15hh mare and 16hh Gelding are in the opposite 5acre paddock. Neighbours also own horses so they will have other horses to chat to. For those wishing to ride, there are plenty of dirt roads surrounding property for trail riding and two of the neighbours have arenas that you may be able to use/hire. Previously had pregnant broodmares, pleasure/hacks, retirees, show/dressage, and race horses agist with us. Sorry, but no round bales over summer due to fire danger. Agistment is always cash in advance, fortnightly or monthly. $20- per week agistment only ($85- per month), feed extra. Water tubs scrubbed weekly, so water is kept clean & fresh.
