Selkirk Rex are a relatively new breed to the cat world and have the most loving, cuddly and affectionate teddy bear natures.
They are known most of all by their unusual coat type, which is different to any other cat by look and feel.
They come in 2 coat types, curly and straight.
The straight coat is soft and plush and the curly coat is wavy to curly, These curly coated cats have often been refered to as 'The cat in sheeps clothing' and everyone that meets them can't go past them without feeling the coat becuase of the amazingly wonderful look of it.
There are some people that prefer the straight coats and some that prefer the curly, but whatever type you choose, you will be forever hooked on these wonderful enchanting cats for life!
