These units are made in China as you would suspect by the price.
However
* The internal mechanism (Baskets, shafts etc.) and barrel are made of stainless steel.
* The top cover is 8mm Perspex and the drive mechanism is metal.
* The extractor will hold four full depth (Langstroth) frames
We imported them because we wanted an extractor ourselves and like you, did not want to pay to much.
It's the same old story (for us)
We wanted a honey extractor, thought they were to expensive and decided to import our own.
