Fitzroy Silage Feeding and Sales focus on producing high quality irrigated round bale silage for cattle feed. Fitzroy Silage is able to offer silage sales as well as custom agistment feeding on our farm at Etna Creek, Central Queensland.

Highly qualified management is able to offer specialized nutritional guidance for backgrounding or finishing in close proximity to Rockhampton meatworks and Gracemere Saleyards.

Custom agistment services are a cross between traditional $/week agistment and feedlotting with large grassed pens which give advantages in cattle temperament, cost, reliability, and growth rates. Custom agistment services can cater for small to large mobs of cattle and cost is based on dry matter of feed consumed only.

Silage round bales 4 x 4 $55 including GST – we have Forage sorghum, Rhodes, Bluegrass and Rhodes with Leucaena Silage.

Hay round bales 4 x 4 $20 including GST – Bluegrass and Rhodes.
