This lead and collar in one design offers greater control when walking as the neck piece can be placed correctly high on the dog’s neck behind her ears for maximum control. This allows for easy correction while walking, exercising or training. It also provides the ability to give a firm, yet quick and gentle correction that eases when the pressure is released.

The dog does not need to be wearing a collar which makes this combo extremely handy for professionals.

Directions:

Place the correction collar section politely over your dogs head and slide the nylon stopper down to set the collar high on your dog’s neck behind her ears and use the leash to gently lift her head up. This allows you to have maximum control over your dog as she can only go where you want her to go. Don’t forget to be first out the door and have your dog in a calm state of mind.

If your dog is on your left the leash should be like a letter P so that the leash lets go after correction.

Another important detail of leash training is that you must always let the dog come to the leash, Never force the leash onto your dog, the first few times, this may take patience. Try using a treat to encourage your dog to put his/her head through the collar section.
