Alecia has arrived into rescue a very very underweight girl in need of a special home who will give her lots of love and attention. At 28 kilos she coudl probably use at least another 10 kilos of body weight to have her looking healthy again

Despite the hardships she has suffered Alecia has a lovely nature and is very willing to please her owners. She understands basic obedience commands like sit, drop, no and outside. However she could use some further training on leash to reduce her pulling.

Great with people and children Alecia would be a fantastic addition to any family wanting to adopt an older alaskan malamute. Despite her 4 years she still has the nature of a pup and loves to throw her squeaky toy in the air for you to catch and throw back to her

Really we would like to see Alecia rehomed as an only dog so that she can have the love an attention that she desperately deserves. She would however consider living with a submissive male dog who would not torment her.
