When we were looking to buy a 5th Wheeler we must have looked at least 20 units. Some had some endearing features, some where cheap and some were expensive but only one had all the qualities that we were looking for, the NuWa HitchHiker 29.5 LKTG. This was the second unit we looked at.
Although we loved the decor, features and overall presentation, it was the price that originally put us off. But, after looking at everything else it became very clear that you get what you pay for and we kept coming back to the HitchHiker. We bought her for $20,000 more than the next suitable on our list. The money was well spent because not only did it have wonderful features it had great decor, quality fittings, great engineering and the latest in side wall technology (Dow Blue insulation). Plus, it was converted to ADR specifications by a highly professional and astute company.
The HitchHiker has an Australian built heavy duty spring and axle assembly, high tensile chassis with an ultra strong Transition Area (Goose Neck). These components far exceed any other manufacturers build quality. What it means is that it won't fall apart when travelling on our roads.
Bottom line. We love the HitchHiker but, due to personal reasons we cannot travel and have reluctantly put her up for sale. Remember, she might cost more but you get what you pay for.
