i am selling my 1986 suzuki rm80 it has just had a bottom end rebuild, new clutch plates, new sprocket set and new tyres all less than 20 hours ago and all of them were an attempt to make it more reliable. it will start in warm conditions but not in the cold ones unless you hill start it clutch start whatever you want to call it but from what i have heard it is not uncommon for these types of bikes and also it doesnt handle up hill stuff well but that could be fixed if you bought a proper suzuki carby for it which is only about $150 and then it would go like stink (my mate has the same bike with the proper carby and its popping wheelies in third and tearing 10cm deep holes in the ground whenever you pop the clutch) but as we have spent over $2000 on this bike my pockets are starting to run dry (as im only 15)and i need to upgrade to something bigger 200 or 250 i am looking for and i would consider a swap this bike is hard to let go but i have to i have just outgrown it and it would be a great begginers bike or intermediate rider who is looking at jumping as it handles them really well.
